We have our own piece of Africa less than a hours drive from us. Olivia and I had the privilege to join the homeschool group on a field trip visiting it.
I missed South Africa SO much after that visit. I just felt like I belong, surrounded by familiar creatures around me. BUT the smell brought me constantly back to reality……it just did not smell like the African Savannah.
We had such a great time and Olivia was very entertained by the beauty of God’s creation.
