After candidating for some time at a Grace Church Napa, we received a calling to ministry in Napa from the elders last weekend. We are very exciting. Anton will be the outreach pastor and the director of Grace Academy, a Christian school that is a ministry of the church. The Pastor in Napa is John Fernandez and for my South-African friends, he is Steve Fernandez's brother. Steve was at Shepherds Conference a few years ago.
It is exciting and overwhelming at the same time. We are excited to see how God is going to use us in His kingdom, but also overwhelmed with the responsibility that is lying ahead of us. My comfort in that is that it is not me or us but the Lord that will work through us. What a comfort!!!!! Praise the Lord for this opportunity and exciting time!
Anton is graduating May 10th and we will move to Napa June 1st. Anton will came back for 2 weeks in June to finish one more class, while me and the girls will stay in Napa to get our house sorted out.
Please pray for us in this crazy time. We are moving out of our home April 31st and will put our stuff into storage. We will house sit someone's house for the month of May and then move to Napa.
Also pray for the girls. Change is hard for them and Naomi is very concerned about leaving her friends behind. I am too. I made such good friends here and I'm going to miss them dearly!!!!!
Napa is 6 hours north of LA, close to San Francisco. It is a beautiful area. It remind me of Stellenbosh in South-Africa, but also not, because the mountains is not that big.

You guys are so blessed to get to move to such a beautiful place. We live about an hour away from Napa, in Sacramento, and it's just spectacular there! Excited for you and your next adventure!
